It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louisa Maria Diamond announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her daughter, Wanda Diamond; sisters: Nellie Offery and Jenny House; her brother, Edgar House (Yvonne); grandchildren: Deano, Rocky, Rodney (Jolene), Yvonne Diamond (James), Tony Baldwin and Curtis Stone; great-grandchildren: Brady, Gage and Logan Reid, Tyler and Ashley Diamond, Drake Stone, Kelsey, Dylan and Tanika Baldwin; close friends: Jean Barry (Billy), Mary Burton and Ruby MacDonald, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur & Nellie House; her son, Henry; sister, Margaret and her brother, David. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street, on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with The Very Rev. Michael Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
