June 27, 1940 - April 28, 2010 - Reginald "Reggie" McEvoy, of Sutton Road, Miramichi, NB, passed away, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Horizon Health Network, Miramichi, NB. Born in Semiwagan Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Josephine (Foley) McEvoy Duthie and Louis McEvoy. Reggie was an avid sport fan. He enjoyed hockey, football and Nascar. He is survived by sisters, Ann (Howard) MacEachern of Miramichi, NB, Joanie Berntson of Vancouver, BC, Catherine Ward of Miramichi, NB and Peggy (Clayton) Doyle of Miramichi, NB; brothers, Frank (Evelyn) McEvoy of Airdrie, AB and Donald (Joan) McEvoy of Miramichi, NB; uncle, Jack (Jeannette) Foley of Miramichi, NB; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Slumberoom, Barnaby, NB. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Nelson, NB on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 12 noon with Father Jim McQuade as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Church Cemetery, Barnaby, NB.
