The death of Doris Hilda (Pring) (Corner) Carson of Hampton, widow of John Carson occurred April 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Frederick and Hannah (Adams) Pring. Doris at 97 still enjoyed going to card parties twice a week. She is survived by five daughters, Phyllis McKenna (Charles) Mississauga, ON, Barbara Floyd (Cecil), Smithtown, Eileen Harrison (Jim Allen), Mississauga, ON, Elaine Corner, Kamloops, BC, Debbie Greer (Sterling), Port Hope, ON; four sons, James Corner, Latchford, ON, Robert Corner (Florence), Hampton, Edward "Skip" Corner (Valerie), Hampton, Harold Corner, Quispamsis; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son William "Billy" in 1974.
There will be a private graveside service at Hampton Rural Cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), Hampton. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Online donations and condolences may be made at: www.reidsfh.com.
