TRENTON - Mary Jean Avery, of Trenton passed away surrounded by her family on April 28, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Trenton, August 13, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Pat and Margaret (Fraser) Kehoe.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Zita Marie; sister, Marjorie and brothers: Willard, Johnie, Danny, and Martin.
Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her kindness, quick wit and enduring love.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie; son, Bud (Linda), Halifax; granddaughters, Haley, Newfoundland; Ashley, Ontario; grandson, Donnie Brousseau, Alberta and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank all friends and family who visited and helped out and also extend special thanks to Nancy Kelly-O'Sullivan, Drs. Park and Douglas and especially cousin, Sissy for their support during Jean's illness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.H. Porter Funeral Home in Trenton with visitation on Sunday, May 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Monday, May 3 at 11 a.m. with Father Gary MacPherson officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow at the church hall.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer Society.
