Summer resident of St. Peter’s Bay passed away at his home in Scotland on April 22, 2009, at 91 years of age. He is survived by his four daughters; Joan, Mari, Florence and Margaret and their families. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving the entire war on the European Front. George was a professional engineer, managing many major construction projects in Great Britain and in Canada. He was one of the world’s top bagpipers. George was a world traveler. His favorite place was P.E.I. – “Where his friends were.”
