It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, David Bruce Whyatt, on Friday, April 30th, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 62. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marguerite; son, Percy Whyatt; daughter, Melanie Whyatt; grandchildren: Dylan and Alexa; brother, Gilbert Whyatt (Glenda), Fort McMurray; niece, Gillian Roberts (Adam); nephew, Gregory Whyatt (Amy) and their children Allison, Katie, Abigal, Mackenzie and Logan; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley & Mabel, grandparents, Sidney and Emma Rice. The family will be receiving friends at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Reception will follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church.
