At her late residence North Tryon on Thursday, April 29th, 2010, of Louise Joan Thomson (nee Dawson) age 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles Thomson. Dear mother of Doug Thomson, Qatar, Kim Thomson, Alberta,and Karen Gaudet (Chris), North Tryon. Loving grandmother of Adam Gaudet, Toronto, and Tyler Gaudet Alberta. Also survived by sisters Jennie Matthews, Blanche Cairns, Georgina Paynter (James), Margaret Newsome (Richard), Bertie Thompson (Sterling), Mary Howatt (Doug), Helen Smith (Delbert), and brother Bennett Dawson (Irma). Predeceased by her parents Murdock and Grace (Francis) Dawson, sister Mildred Harvey (Ralph), brothers James and Harvey Dawson, and brothers-in-law Hillus Cairns and Alvin Matthews. No visitaton or funeral service by personal request. A graveside committal service will be held at North Tryon Presbyterian Cemetery on Sunday, May 2 at 1:30. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital Fund or North Tryon Presbyterian Building Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud.
