Predeceased by his wife Susie, daughter Dallas, brother George, step-brother William, grandsons Dale Norris and Baby Stringer and special friend Vina Meadus. Left with fond and loving memories, his daughters: Daphne (Heber Pitts), Clarenville, Blanche (Armine Stringer), Caplin Cove and Marie (Cyril Whalen), Long Cove; sons: Wesley (Ivy), Clarenville. Clyde (Beverley), 100 Mile House, BC and Ellisson (Jane), Eastport; sister Blanche Mercer, Clarenville; foster brother Thomas Benson (Violet), Hillview; brother-in-law Weldon Stoyles (Violet), Hillview; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren- 2 great-great-grandchildren; special friend Shirley Keats; special care givers: Edna and Ed Hart, Lady Cove, and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville.
