1945 - 2010 - James Watters passed away peacefully at his residence in Cassie Cape on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born in Moncton son of the late Fred and Frances (Weldon) Watters. Jim was retired from the Halifax Water Commission. He will be sadly missed by his wife Natalie (Ward) Watters of 40 years, son, Kenneth (Sherry), daughter, Krista (Cory) Watters both of Halifax and Jim's greatest gift; his two grandchildren, Megan and Alex. He is also survived by one sister, Frederica (Bob) Long as well as several nieces and nephews. He loved his time at the beach, swimming, walking on the sand bars and enjoyed the beach fire with his family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 11:00 am with the Rev. Wayne G. Smith officiating followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in James' memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
