Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and friends Bruce Garfield Cooper, on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 51. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 25 years, Beverley (nee Butt); his mother Mrs. Marjorie Cooper; his sisters and brothers: Mrs. Robina Raike of Sussex, NB, Ronald (Marie) of Mississauga, Gareen (Ivan) Ball of Kitimat, Sheila (David) Masters of St. John's and Barry (Cheryl) of Fort McMurray as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bruce was predeceased by his father Garfield, sisters: Wavey and Regina, mother and father-in-law Hayward and Marie Butt, his brother-in-law Cecil Raike and his loving "Little Man" his dog Alex. Visitation took place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street Deer Lake, on Monday, May 3rd, 2010, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and will take place today Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday May 5th, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery. Flowers or donations to the SPCA in Bruce's memory are graciously accepted.
