It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond House aged 84 years; announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at the Interfaith Home. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Anna Maria (Nan), daughters: Annette (Bruce) Denny, Corner Brook and Maureen (Doug) Fahey, Calabogie, ON; grandchildren: Brian, Beth, Ian and Meghan; sister: Dallas Ross, Sackville, NS; sister-in-law: Faith House, St. John's; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ray was predeceased by his parents: Frank and Ellen House and his brother and best friend; Robert. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday evening from 7-9:00 p.m., and Maria Regina Church Port Au Port East, on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., where the funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Father Aidan Devine officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Interfaith Home, Corner Brook.
