Bruce A Davidson, age 55, of Tidnish Bridge, passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center on Saturday, May 1, 2010, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Amherst he was a son of Beulah (Laing) Davidson and the late Sherman Davidson.
Bruce was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to fish. His dog Ping was always by his side. He had a special spot for his friend Tommy Dawson Jr. Bruce always enjoyed having a good time and being with family and friends.
In addition to his mother Beulah Davidson, he will be dearly missed by his daughter Tara (Keith) Deschamps, Ontario; 3 grandchildren, step-daughter Cathy; step grandchildren; 1 sister Trudy (John) Weir; 3 brothers Gary (Dodie), Greg (Winnie), Rollie, all of Tidnish Bridge; several aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Sherman and sister Lorena Connick.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). A committal service will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish Bridge on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 2 pm, all are welcome to attend.
