April 4th, 1967 - May 1st, 2010 - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Terris which occurred on May 1st, 2010 in Shenstone, NB. James was born in Moncton on April 4th, 1967 the son of the late Vaughn Terris and Marion (Parker) Harrison of Hillsborough. He was the owner/operator of Hillbilly Drywall for the past several years and prior to that he worked for Downey Building Supplies as a boom truck operator. James was known for his work ethics and easy going personality, he always had a smile and a good-day for everyone he met. He will be remembered for his wonderful smile and his love of teasing (which he did a lot of) and for his great love for his little great nieces and nephews. He sure loved their hugs and kisses. He also had a special bond with animals and took his dog, Bud, everywhere he went. When you think of James he would want us all to remember the good times and all the laughs over the years. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his Mom, Marion Harrison of Hillsborough; his sister, Sandra Heikkinen (Wayne) of Flesherton, ON; his four brothers, Bill (Olwen) of Blenheim, ON, Reg (Lesley) of Hillsborough, Bentley (Yvonne), and Anthony (Phyllis) both of Shenstone. He will also be deeply missed by a very special girl in his life, Sarah Steeves, by several nieces and nephews and also by his many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Vaughn Terris on May 28th, 2008 and by his very special canine companion, Bud in 2009.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on May 5th, 2010 at 11:00am with Pastor Danny Steeves officiating. Immediately following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Shenstone Cemetery, Shenstone. Donations to the SPCA, Shenstone Cemetery or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
