The death occurred peacefully at the Garden Home, with family by her side, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 of M. Evelyn Perry (nee Arsenault), formerly of Sherwood, age 89 years.
Wife of the late Henry Perry. Loving mother of Marg MacDonald (Dan deceased), Stanhope; Eva Robichaud (Jim), Hamilton, Ont.; Gerald (Linda) London, Ont.; Allen (Barb), Sleepy Hollow/Cornwall; Alvin (Betty) Edmonton, Alberta; Joe (Sandra), Tryon; and daughter-in-law, Angela Perry, Charlottetown.
Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survived by sisters-in-law, Lin Gallant (Lorraine), Howlan; Leona Perry (Isodore deceased), Summerside; Beatrice Perry (Vincent deceased), Howlan; Doris Perry (Oscar deceased), Saint John, N.B.; and Estelle Arsenault, Hamilton, Ont.
Predeceased by her twin son, John; sisters, Rosella Avery (Herb), Annie Arsenault (Leo), Celia Richard (Frank), Olive Kinch (Jim); brothers, Jack (Annie), George, Eddie and Leonard; and brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Alphonse and Mae Bernard.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday, May 7, at 9:45, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visitation Thursday, May 6, 6 to 9 p.m.
Due to family allergies, please refrain from wearing scents during visiting hours and funeral.
