Leonard Frank Trowsse of Amherst passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, N.S.
Born in Masham , Quebec he was a son of the late Warner and Hazel (Moore) Trowsse.
Leonard worked for Birds of Amherst, working in the restaurant and was store manager for many years.
He is survived by his daughter Barbara Ann (Reg Avon) Trowsse of Ottawa, three granddaughters Tina, Jessica and Cassandra, two sisters Ada Trowsse of Ottawa and Lorna (Delmar) Davis of Hull, Quebec and several nieces and nephews.
Leonard was predeceased by two brothers Stewart and Howard.
Cremation has taken place.
At Leonard's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Cremated remains will be transferred to Quebec for interment at a later date.
Memorial donations in Leonard's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Diabetic Association through Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, N.S. (667-9906)
