CONNORS, John Phillip
Feb. 14, 1949 - April 30, 2010

Surrounded by family, John passed away April 30 at the age of 61 at Trillium Hospital in Toronto, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, John was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen (Reynolds) Connors. Beloved brother of Margaret Blake, Truro: Eleanor (Warren Brown), Halifax; Betty (Tom Haight), Lower Sackville; Pat (Gerry Bester) Toronto; brothers Jim (Mary), Truro; Doug (Lucy), Brentwood; sister-in-law Betty Connors, Truro Heights; and brother-in-law Peter Hanratty, Halifax. Predeceased by sisters Frances and Bertha and brother Edward. Beloved "Uncle John" to seven nephews and nine nieces. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will take place at Ridley's Funeral Home at 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., on Wednesday, May 5 from 7-9p.m. in Toronto, Ontario. John's remains will be taken home to Nova Scotia for burial at a later date.
