It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Genevieve (Gen) Mullaly announce her passing at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, May 3, 2010, at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her husband William (July, 1996). She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Desmond (Patricia), Woodstock, N.B., David, St. John's and Robert (Bobbi MacLeod), Ottawa; three daughters: Patricia (Gary Young), Kippens, Carol (Eugene Sheppard), Lower Sackville, N.S. and Yvonne (Eugene Squire), Eastport; fourteen loving grandchildren: Richard (Christiane), Jeffery (Kelli), Amanda (Jimmy), Scott, Jennifer (Matt), Stephen, Brendan, Andrew, John, Gregory (deceased 1993), Jessica, Kristie, Sean and Tara; two great-grandchildren: Lucas and Thomas; four brothers: Hal Simms (Deceased), Bob Simms (deceased), Bill Simms (Ottawa) and Ray Simms (Ottawa); three sisters: Betty Bulger, St. John's, Kay MacCormack, St. John's, Dot Murphy (deceased) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
