The passing of James "Jim" Donald Graham of Douglas, NB, husband of Cynthia (Dernier) Graham occurred on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on May 6, 1952 in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of M. Aurora Graham and the late J. Freeman Graham. Jim had his Bachelor of Arts. He worked for NB Power as a River Control Operator, working in Dalhousie for 25 years and Mactaquac for five years. He was a member of the IBEW Union Executive and the Mactaquac Sailing Association. Jim was an avid sailor and loved the outdoors, snowshœing, curling and woodworking. In addition to his wife and mother, James is survived by sisters, Maggie McLaughlin (John) of Fredericton, NB, Sharon Ingleton (Derek) of Quispamsis, NB and Carla Bleakney (Steven) of Fredericton, NB; brother, Bill Graham (Elayna Katz) of Ottawa, ON; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew.
A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
