At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, of Harlan Melville Robbins of Martinvale, age 83 years. Loving father of Linda (Garth) Robertson, Bonnie (Robert) MacLean, Gary (Lucy) Robbins, Harlene Fraser, Cheryl, and William Robbins; stepfather of Brenda and Glenda Sangster. Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Brother of Eileen Munn, Sadie Hiltz and Alice Butler. Predeceased by his parents, Mellie and Mae (nee Myers) Robbins; and son, Stanley. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Lorne Valley Cemetery. Visitation: Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Treatment Unit or to Camp Gencheff would be appreciated.
