Annie M. Beers, 86, of Moncton, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Born in Chipman, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Hazel (Brown) Brown. Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed doing puzzles, knitting, gardening, wood working, crafts, was an animal lover, an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Blue Jay fan, but first and foremost, she enjoyed spending precious time with her family. Annie will be sadly missed by her children, Doreen Henke (Gerald), Lindsay, ON; Joyce Rietzel, Sheila Cassie (Maurice), Bonnie McLeod (John), Rhonda Beers, Cheryl Beers; sons, Gerald (Marjorie), Norman (Joyce), Lorne (Sharon), Roger (Linda), Brian (Valerie), Tommy (Odette), all of Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; daughter in law, Sharon Beers; brother, Frank Brown (Rose), Chipman; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas P. Beers (2007); sons, Floyd and Gordon Beers; brother, Alvin and sister, Ida.
