Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex on May 7, 2010, Clara Jane Jarvis, age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Philip Jarvis in 1998. Leaving to mourn her daughter Phyllis Hansford (Granville); son George Jarvis (Lorraine); grandchildren: Paulette Moore (Christopher), Tanya Sala (Eric), Brian Hansford (Jeanette), Gregory Jarvis (Jennifer), Philip Hansford (Tanya) and Kelly Searle; great-grandchildren: Zachary and Hayley Anne Moore, Andrew, Olivia and Gavin Sala, Marguerite and Brandan Kennedy and Tracey Searle; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff of Ruby Manor, Mt. Pearl for their wonderful care over the past four years, and to 3rd floor East Escasoni Complex for the kind short term care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Topsail United Church. Interment to follow in Topsail United Church Cemetery.
