FRENCH, Evelyn M.– Passed suddenly but peacefully away at her residence on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, Evelyn M. French of Harbour Grace, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Ada Yetman, brothers: Azariah, Stewart and Ches, sister Lillian Lynch, brother-in-law James French. Leaving to mourn husband Gordon; two daughters: Jacqueline (Ken) Hafermehl, Spruce Grove, Alta. and Marilyn (Laurie) Merrigan, Millwood, Alta.; one son Gordon (Beverly), Millwood, Alta.; five grandchildren: Melissa, Joey, Andrew, Pauline and Gordon; two brothers: Graham (Jane) Yetman, Chamberlains and Freeman (Carol) Yetman, N.S.; sisters: Marina Hillyard, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Nellie Yetman, Bryant’s Cove and Doris French, Bay Roberts and Louise (Nath) Mercer, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL’S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 2. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 4 at 2 p.m. from St. Paul’s Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
