A long time resident of Torbay passed away after a difficult battle with cancer at age 50. Neal grew up in Grand Falls-Windsor where he enjoyed a childhood filled with family, friends and sports. He is predeceased by his father Ford and best friend Brian Martin. Leaving to mourn his two beloved daughters: Jennifer and Melanie and their mother Linda; devoted partner and friend Deborah Noseworthy and her sons: Adam and Tony; mother Marion Budgell; sister Patricia (Neil) Rowe; brothers: Bruce (Madonna), Colin (Carolyn), Brian (Kim), John (Deb); nieces: Susan (Jeff), Andrea (Duncan), Katherine (Paul), Alex; nephews: Brian (Denyse), Michael, Andy and Jonathan; grand-nieces: Aaliyah, Madelyn and Lauren; a large circle of friends, especially Stephanie and Gerald Rockwood and Cheryl, Melissa and Lori Martin; his golfing buddies: Terry and Ray at Bally Haly Golf and Country Club, and his colleagues and co-workers at Pennecon. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Wednesday, May 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. James United Church on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. Donations in Neal’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
