Passed peacefully away at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence on Monday, May 10, 2010, Doreen Pearcey (Curnew), age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Maxwell Pearcey, 2009 and her son Gregory Ernest Pearcey, 2007. Leaving to mourn with fond memories her children: Lana Manning (Paul), Randy Pearcey (Bobbi), Tony Pearcey (Marilyn) and Connie Pearcey (Don Currie); daughter-in-law Helen Pearcey; grandchildren: Tony Manning (Trina), Heather Manning, Holly Manning, Jennifer Neary (Chris), Shane Pearcey, Andrew Pearcey, Adam Pearcey, Sarah Pearcey, Stefan Boland, Nicole Boland, Gregory Currie and Alex Currie; great-granddaughter Kathy Manning; special son Carl Pearcey (Rose); brother George Curnew (Shirley); sisters: Henrietta Forbes and Vera Bishop; sisters-in-law: Madeline Curnew, Ollie Curnew and Gladys Curnew; brother-in-law Norman Morris; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
