Milligan, Shelly J. - 47, Truro passed away May 3, 2009. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Louise Cavanaugh of Portapique and the late Reginald Cavanaugh. She is survived by her husband, Kenny; daughters, Danielle Paris (Kenny), Jalynn Paris, both of Truro; son, Cory (Monica) Thompson, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Makhia, Carter, Marquse; stepchildren, Alex and Shelby Milligan, Edmonton, Alberta; brothers, Terry , Thunder Bay, Ont., Darren (Carolyn), Bible Hill; sister, Janice Cavanaugh, Bible Hill; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husbands, Dwayne Paris and Donald Thompson and one nephew. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 9th from 7-9 pm; memorial service on Sunday, May 10th at 2:00 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Brian DeLong officiating. Interment in Onslow Island Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of choice.
