After a short illness, Lilly Frances Ingram (1914-2010), of Arnold's Cove, left to join her beloved Berkley (April 27, 2007). Predeceased by brothers Jim, Lou, Jack and the Rev. Douglas Best, sisters Melinda Gregory (George), Lillian Parsons (Nathan), Gertrude Gregory (Wes) and Hilda. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are sons: Norman (Regina Noseworthy) and Gordon (Janet Hookey); grandchildren: Wanda Lee Jamieson (Norman), Carol Ann, Deborah Lynn, Scott (Katherine Britt), Wendy (Andrew McDonald) and Joanne Armstrong (Adam); great-grandchildren: Stacey and Justin Jamieson, Amanda Collins, Maximillian Ingram, Michelle Lynn and Grace Adele MacDonald; nephews: Douglas Best and Raymond Allen; nieces: Hilda Wareham and Gwen Warren; sisters-in-law: Ivy Pittman, Marie Dicks (Jim), Vera Parsons (Ches), Juanita Mullins (Don), Rowena Peach (Otto) and their children; caregivers Hannah Rodway and Carrie Brace. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from First United Church, Arnold's Cove with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Come-by-Chance.
