Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, Mr. William James "Jim" Seymour, aged 73 years, of Butlerville. Predeceased by his parents Allan and Marcella (nee Barrett) Seymour, baby daughter Evelyn, sisters Mildred (Garfield) Butler, Betty (Burl) Neal, brother Roy, deceased in infancy, sisters-in-law Marie and Mary Ellen Seymour, brothers-in-law Edward Parsons and Wallace Crocker. Leaving to mourn wife Elizabeth; 1 son Chad (Tracy); five daughters: Denise (Henry) Parsons, Debbie (Paul) Noseworthy, Laura (Glen) Newell, Nicole (Cliff) Whalen, Maxine (Les) Vail; four sisters: Irene Parsons, Julia (Lester) Oliver, Juanita Crocker, Marcella (Donald) Payne; five brothers: Allan, Wilfred (Rita Fudge), Kevin (Sherrill), Jerome (Louise), Wayne (Margaret); eleven grandchildren: Regan, Kristina, Leanne, Kaitlin, Aaron, Chelsea, Larissa, Matthew, Lindsay, Ashley, Chloe and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Thursday 2 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Cremation shall follow visitation. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Shearstown. Inurnment in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Shearstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
