It is with sadness we announce the passing of our little angel, infant Joyce-Lynn Laurelle Tighe on May 12, 2010, at the IWK Grace Maternity Hospital in Halifax.
Joyce was a daughter of Laureen Bishop and Danny Tighe, New Waterford. She is also survived by siblings, Robbie MacDonald, Glace Bay, Johnny MacDonald, Sarah MacDonald, Travis Tighe and Courtney Tighe, all of New Waterford; maternal grandmother, Barbara Bishop and paternal grandfather, Wallace Tighe; great-grandfather, Alex MacKenzie; niece, Chloe Tomiczek.
Joyce-Lynn was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Neil Bishop, and paternal grandmother, Joyce Tighe.
A funeral service for Joyce-Lynn will be held Tuesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith St., New Waterford, with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Scotchtown.

God sent your Mommy and Daddy an Angel from heaven above. And in the few short hours we had you we were overwhelmed and filled with love! You entered this world much too early. They said you wouldn't survive. As I held you and admired your beauty all I could do was cry. As your tiny heart stopped beating, your mommy's and daddy's stopped too. For we didn't want to let you go and we prayed to God you knew! Although you were very tiny you are a big part of our lives and you will always and forever be until we meet up in the sky! We will never forget you sweet angel even though we don't have you to hold. But the short time we got to have you was worth more than all the world's gold!
