The death of Freda Mae Little of Sussex occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on May 14, 2010 at the age of 85. Born in Lower Millstream, NB, she was a daughter of the late James and Agnes (Holmes) Long and was the wife of Gordon E. Little who passed away in 1999. Freda is survived by her daughters; Dianne (Leonard) Chown of Kanata, ON, Donna (Bill) O'Connor of Surrey, BC and Lori Little of Saint John, grandchildren; Candace (Shaun) Reynolds, Faith Little, Shawn (Sherri) O'Connor, Troy Chown, Trent Chown, Albert Gordon Little, great grandsons; Cooper and Brady Reynolds, sister; Jean Moore and brother Ron (Audrey) Long all of Saint John. Freda was predeceased by her son Gordon J. Little, sisters Flora Watson and Hazel Drouin and brothers Burton and Elbert Long.
The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-8PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 19, 2010 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
