April 20, 1929 - May 17, 2010 - Audrey Marie (McKinley) Slipp, passed away at her home at 7 Brighton Court, Fredericton, NB on May 17, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband David Harvard "Shaver" Slipp. She was born at Woodstock, NB on April 20, 1929, daughter of the late Fred & Violet (Hood) McKinley. For many years she summered at the family woods camp in Allendale, NB. She was an avid hunter and lover of nature. She is survived by her six sons and fourteen grandchildren: Arthur and Lynne Slipp of Woodstock and children Patrick, Daniel and Lauren; Robert (Bob) Slipp and Bev Kelson of Kamloops, BC and children Micheala (Amilcar) and Stephen; Richard (Dick) and Joyce Slipp of Fredericton and children Shanda and Tyler; David Slipp and Nancy Hood of Bristol, RI and daughter Naomi (Derek); Fred and Patti Slipp of Saint John and children Nicole, Marissa, David and Curran; Andrew and Duska Slipp of Fredericton and children Samantha and Brock; two sisters: Margaret "Peggy" Martin of Woodstock & Barbara McKinley de Morrison of Dartmouth, NS; three sisters-in-law: Pauline Forrest, Mary Patterson both of Woodstock and Charlotte Young of Brockway, NB; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation at The Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with Ven. Walter Williams officiating. Committal Service and interment to follow at the Kirk Cemetery, Northampton, NB followed by a reception at the Woodstock Golf Club. An Eastern Star Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 6:45p.m. at the Funeral Home.
