1920 - 2010 - The family of Anna Greenough would like to announce her passing on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on April 8, 1920 in Fort Lawrence, Nova Scotia, Anna was the daughter of the late Morley and Sarah (Daley) Smith. Cherished mother of daughters; Elizabeth (Betty) Latimer, Riverview, NB and Joanne (Wes) Earl, Clayton Lake, ON, and son-in-law Daryll Hyslop, Winnipeg, MB. Anna will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren; Kim (Scott) Miller, Derek and Ted Lamoureux all of Ottawa, Ontario, Chris (Shawn) Fitzhenry, Winnipeg, MB and John (Amber) Latimer, Stony Plain, Alberta; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anna's family would like to say a special heart felt thank you to all the wonderful staff at Mount Royal Eldercare and McNair Manor where Anna had been a resident since 2005. God Bless you all. You are God's caring angels. Anna was predeceased by her husband Layton (Bob) Percy Greenough (1988), daughter Barbara (2004), brothers; Chesley, Raymond, Albert and Russell and sisters; Lillie, Marion and Alice. Anna was the last remaining member of her family. At Anna's request, there will not be any visitation. A private family graveside committal service in Amherst, NS will take place at a later date. Donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
