Eva May MacRae, 77, Victoria, B.C., formerly of Black River, Richmond Co., passed away gently Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Beacon Hill Villa, Victoria, B.C. She is now at peace.
Eva was born April 28, 1932 in Truro, Colchester Co., a daughter of the late Daniel and Rachel (Christie) Brown. She was a teacher and a member of the Black River United Church.
Eva is survived by her five children, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Gordon and great-granddaughters, Alden and Anika.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in Black River United Church with Wayne Yorke, DLM officiating.
Burial in Black River United Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Eva may be made to Alzheimer’s Society or BC Children’s Hospital.
