Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, Debbie Doreen Nelson-Vardy (nee Rowsell), aged 50 years. Predeceased by her father and mother Bert and Pearl Rowsell. Leaving to mourn with fond memories her loving husband Rev. Myles W. Vardy; children: Matthew Nelson (Tara), Sherry Nelson, Holly Nelson, Leah Vardy, Katie Vardy and Rebecca Vardy; grandchildren: Madison and Brooklyn; sisters: Jan Folkes, Wanda Boyd (Gary), Jackie Roy (Cory); brothers: Otto Rowsell (Roxanne), Dave Rowsell (Gail), Lloyd Rowsell (Cynthia), Shawn Rowsell (Bernice); mother-in-law Frances Vardy; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Tucker (Bill) and Karen Vardy; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday and then from 10 a.m. - 12 noon on Saturday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Saturday, May 9, 2009 p.m. at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
