1924 - 2010 - Ruth Elaine Cowan, 86, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Born in Petitcodiac, NB on February 20, 1924 she was the only child of the late John and Edna (Fraser) Adams. She was a former member of The Bethyl Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Riverview Seniors Club, the Lions Seniors Club and Lakeview Manor Auxillary. She is survived by her children Wayne (Thelma) Perry of Riverview, Michael (Kathy) Perry of Moncton, Susan (Richard) Malcom of Red Deer, AB and Linda (Ron) Noble Harriston, ON; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her former husband Edmund Perry in 1995, her second husband James Cowan in 1985 and a grandson Kent Alan Perry in 2003. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In memory of Ruth, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
