The death of Frederick Justus Pickard of Fredericton, NB, occurred suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, May 20th, 2010. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Beverly and Eileen (Stairs) Pickard and the loving husband of Carol Anne (Higgins) Pickard. Fred was a loving husband to Carol Anne; a wonderful Dad to Michael Todd Pickard of Quebec City and James Fredrick Pickard of Marysville, NB; loving Grampy to Megan Eileen Pickard, Janica Sarah Pickard; one brother, David Pickard (Andrea) of Miramichi, NB, one nephew, Gregory Pickard and one niece, Natalie McCarthy (Chris).
Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 from 6 -9 pm. Alexandria Lodge # 33 will hold a tribute service at 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 770 McEvoy St. Fredericton, NB. Rev. David Mercer as Celebrant with Rev. Ian Wetmore as assisting Celebrant. Interment will be in the All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery.
