Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 23, 2010, Bernice M. Pike of Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Graham and Beatrice Pike; brother: Baby Duncan; parents-in-law: Jordan and Elizabeth Pike. Leaving to mourn, husband: Frank; one daughter: Elizabeth (Richard) Baker, Harbour Grace; two grandchildren: Richie and Jordan; two brothers: Neville (Ada) Pike and Wallace (Peggy) Pike, both of Harbour Grace; three sisters: Minnie (Adolphe) Penney, St. John's, Ruby (Warrick) King, Perry's Cove and Marilyn Pike (Wayde Nippard), Harbour Grace; step-mother-in-law: Betty Pike, Carbonear; brothers-in-law: James Pike (Greta) Winterton and Danny (Glenda) Pike, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Carol (Max) Powell and Donna (William) Smith, both of Carbonear and Juanita (Jerry) Slade, ON; a large number of nephews, nieces as well as other relatives and friends.
