1957 - 2010 - Susan Melanson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, daughter of Betty Lane and the late George Lane. Susan was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She made everyone smile around her. She is survived by her husband Phil Melanson, three sons, Terry (Marsha) Helpard of Riverview, Michael Helpard of Riverview and Corey Melanson of Riverview, three step children, Jason (Cindy) Melanson, Todd Melanson and Angela (Derek) Barkhouse, eight grandchildren; Drake, Payden, Zach, Emma, Lillie, Mitchel, Hannah, Natalie. She will also be sadly missed by three brothers, Harold (Geraldine) Lane of Salisbury, Tom (Virginia) Lane of Pine Glen, Todd (Belle) Lane of Toronto, one sister, Bonnie (Kevin) Helpard of Riverview as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Susan was predeceased by her infant son Troy Helpard.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, May 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Remembrances in Susan's memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
