Passed peacefully away at St. John's, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, Elizabeth (Betty) Garland, age 60 years. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Alice, brothers John and Jim and sisters Rita, Ann, Mary and Geraldine. Leaving to mourn with many wonderful memories, her husband Gordon, son Stephen (Nancy), daughter Karen (Sis) (Shawn); loving grandchildren: Justin, Olivia and Sarah, whom she adored and cherished; brothers: Thomas (Judy), Ontario, Raymond, Quebec and Gordon, St. John's; sisters: Marie (Keith), Carol Ann (Wayne), Linda (Mark), June and Kathleen (Trent); sister-in-law Alma (Stormy) Wetters, Michigan; special friends: Sadie Parsley and Forrest and Linda Follett, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her co-workers at Remax. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, May 28th from 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 29th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 29th at 2 p.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
