David Glayne Smith, age 55, of Hanwell, NB passed away peacefully on May 25, 2010 at his residence. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Totten) Smith. He was employed with G.N.B. Archives as an Analyst, enjoyed fishing and being out and about touring on his motorcycle. Survived by two of the greatest loves that entered into his life granddaughter Madison and grandson Marshall; daughter Michelle (Adams) Matt of Calgary; son Andrew of Nova Scotia; sisters Phyllis Smith of Toronto, Linda Bunner (Brian) of New Hampshire, Pat Neilson of Swan Creek, and Ann Marie Plumadore (David) of Cambridge Narrows; brothers Andrew (Aline) of Charters Settlement, and Jeffrey of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Roland "Rollie" and the family pet dog Ralph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Laurie Fenerty officiating. Interment in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery.
