Raymond Caissie

Lieu de naissance : Harvey Station, Nouveau Brunswick, Canada

Lieu de décès : Cork, Nouveau Brunswick, Canada
Date de décès : 26 mai 2010

Raymond A. Caissie of Cork, NB passed away May 26, 2010 at his home. Raymond was born at Harvey Station, NB in 1960, a son of Mabel M. J. (Russell) Caissie and the late Edmond Caissie. Raymond was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved fishing, hunting and canoeing. He was a novice golf player and an old time basketball player. You could often find him just tinkering around the yard. He loved a good old kitchen party and was an international and professional spoon player (in his mind anyway). He loved to play guitar and sing with his family and friends. What Raymond loved intensely and fiercely was his family. He taught his sons integrity, honesty and how to work hard and love harder. He could lighten any mood with his sense of humor. He made their home a safe and happy place to grow up and warm and loving place to come home to. He was their beacon of light. To his wife he gave his all. He was her best friend, her dearest confidant and her knight in shining armor. For thirty years he filled her life with laughter, security and a feeling of being loved like no other. He was truly her soulmate. His quiet and unwavering strength will allow his family to continue on this life journey without his physical presence. He was a beloved son and a cherished brother and friend. He will be forever loved, forever cherished and never, ever forgotten. Raymond is survived by his wife, Terri L. (Austin) Caissie; his sons, Brad and Mitch, both of Cork, NB; his mother, Mabel Caissie of Cork, NB; his siblings, Maurice Caissie (Maryanna), Yoho Lake, NB, Lorraine Caissie, Carol Gillet (Ronald), Danny Caissie (Karen), all of Cork, NB and Terry Caissie (Mary), Saint John, NB; his parents-in-law, Dave and Gladys Austin, Minto, NB and a brother-in-law, Darren Austin (Renee), Minto, NB and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Route 645, Cork, NB on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11a.m. Interment will follow in the Cork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darren Austin, Donald McCann, Charles Brown and his brothers, Maurice, Danny and Terry Caissie. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Raymond, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society, the Lung Association or the Cork Cemetery. www.flewellingswan.com
