1918-2010 - The passing of Elsie Gray of Craigs Flat occurred peacefully at her son's home on the evening of May 26, 2010. Born in Birch Ridge on December 8, 1918, she was the last surviving child of the late William and Jennie (Skinner) Foster. She leaves behind her daughters Diane Dunster (Hank) of Medford, Donna Shepherd (Bob) of West Virginia, Betty Nye (Dale) of Bristol; her sons Johnny Gray (Marlene) of Hamilton, ON, Shane Gray of Perth-Andover, Tony Gray (Tina) of Upper Kintore; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander Gray and her daughter Carol Grant.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2 pm from St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Birch Ridge. Rev. Amanda Longmoore will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
