The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, May 9, 2009, of Mr. Ernest John “Ernie’’ Chandler of Charlottetown, in his 93rd year. Dear father of Paul (Lois) of Village Green, Sharon (Mike) Burke of Charlottetown and Brian (Robin) of Charlottetown. He is also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, his brother Rupert Chandler and his travelling companions, Sassy and Pippan. He was predeceased by his first wife, Nora, his second wife, Roseanna, his son, Ricky, granddaughter, Megan, and grandson, Gerard. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral. Due to allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
