At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2009, of Mr. Wilbur Doyle of Charlottetown, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Eileen Doyle (nee Brown) and dear father of Paul (Barb), Carol (Bill) Russo, Edmonton, Alberta, Shane (Elsey), Randy (Brenda), Vaughn (Rosemary) Pam (Jeff) Cook and Darren (Shelly). Wilbur will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his sisters and brothers; Thelma Carmichael, Halifax, N.S., Margie Asprey, Earl, Frances “Dolly’’ Trainor, Beverly LeBlanc, Linus and Janet (Russell) Pickard. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Elizabeth (MacDonald) Doyle, his twin brother, Ambie, and brother and sister, Jack Doyle and Susan Coyle. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33/35 Longworth Ave. until 9:45 Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of The Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, memorials in Wilbur’s memory can be made to the Prince Edward Home.
