Passed peacefully away at Makinsons on Saturday, May 9, 2009, Mr. Gordon E. Taylor of Makinsons, aged 65 years. Predeceased by parents Ronald and Effie Taylor; wife Mary; brother George; brothers-in-law: Harvey Anthony, Harvey Reid. Leaving to mourn sons: Corey (Charmaine) Taylor, Craig (Allison) Taylor; daughters: Jackie (Scott) Vokey, Mari-Lynn Taylor; sisters: Marion (Art) Rideout, Effie Taylor, Ivy Anthony, Elaine Reid, Mona (Paul) McCarthy; brothers: Fredrick (Marie) Taylor, Thomas (Margie) Taylor, Robert (Marjorie) Taylor, Rendell (Karen) Taylor; sister-in-law Elizabeth Taylor; six grandchildren: Michael, Melanie and Julia Vokey, Alexander, Amelia and Jesse Taylor; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Sunday 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 10 p.m., Monday 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 10 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Parish of The Resurrection, South River. Interment in the St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Makinsons.
