BERGER
Reta Berger of Regina, Saskatchewan and formerly of Central Butte, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at the WinterGreene Estates. The Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, May 15th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Central Butte, Saskatchewan. Father David Cottingham and Deacon Bob Williston will be presiding celebrants and interment will follow at the Central Butte Cemetery. Reta was born on June 9th, 1928. In 1948 she married her life time friend, John Berger. They shared their life together farming until retiring to Central Butte. In 2007 Reta moved to Regina and made WinterGreene Estates her new home. Reta’s greatest joy in life was her family and friends. Reta is welcomed home by her husband John. Left to cherish Reta’s memory are her children Lois (Dyke) Summers, Debbie Berger and friend Richard, Karen (Brian) Summers, and Gail (Reg) Dolman; her grandchildren Shauna (Ryan) Drake, Cody Summers (Melissa), Jared Berger (Crystal), Kegan Summers (Brittany), Kristin and Scott Dolman; her great grandchildren Carson Drake and Keira and Wyatt Berger. Memorial donations in Reta’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, Sk., S7K 2H8.
