Richard "Dick" Burnes, age 73, of Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Zelda (Wilson) Burnes. Dick retired in 1999 from the automotive after market industry and was a former president of APM Ltd., with 43 years service. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed snowmobiling, tinkering with various machinery in his garage and spending precious time with his family and friends. Dick will be sadly missed by his wife of over 50 years, Eunice (Briggs) Burnes; daughter, Stephanie Burnes (Stephen McLaughlin), Riverview and son, Terry Burnes (Jill MacFie-Burnes), Lincoln, NB; grandchildren, Jennifer and James Burnes; brother, Tommy Burnes (Vi), Pointe-du-Chene; several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lois and brother, Jack.
