(1932-2010) - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Léandre Doiron 77, of Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Antoine and Ida (Thibodeau) Doiron. Before retiring, Léandre worked as a carpenter. He attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Léandre will be sadly missed by his two sons; Paul Doiron (Charane) of Boxford, MASS, David Doiron of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, two sisters; Edna Doiron and Lillian Maillet both of Waltham, MASS, four brothers; Andre Doiron of Waltham, MASS, Norman Doiron of Framingham, MASS, Ovilia Dorion of Shediac Bridge, Robert Doiron of Leominster, MASS and several nieces and nephews. Léandre was predeceased by his wife; Bernice (LeBlanc) Doiron and one infant brother; Ronald Doiron.
Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 4th, 2010 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
