The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, of Leigh Hogg of Summerside, aged 86 years. Born in St. Eleanors, he was the son of late Robert and Gladys (Oatway) Hogg. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hilda (Clark) Hogg, children, Wendell (Debbie), Janet (Gary) Arsenault and Gary; grandchildren Tanya (Trent) Campbell, Jerri-Lynn Mann (Jamie Casey), Cory Hogg (Charlotte Cormier), great-granddaughter, Jessica Campbell, brothers and sisters, Ora Arsenault, Loretta Waite and Charlotte (Elmer) Rayner, and by a sister-in-law, Jean Hogg. Predeceased by his sister, Estelle Ackerman, brother, Russell Hogg, and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Ackerman, Ellery Arsenault and Francis Waite. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
