By accident near Pokiok, NB on June 2, 2010, Samuel Scott Melvin, age 37, of Fredericton passed away. Born in Fredericton, he was employed with UNB as a painter and was Anglican by faith. Survived by his parents, father Sam (Heather); mother Linda (Ken); children, Brandon and Kyle, their mother Kelly; son Justin; companion Priscilla, her children Ezra and Aleata-Pearl, sisters Connie Banks (Oscar), Kimberly Melvin; step brothers Dean and Chris Stewart; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 12 Noon to 1 PM at which time a funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel with Lester Mitchell officiating.
