The passing of Ada Elizabeth (Currie) Rossborough, wife of the late Henry Rossborough, of Fredericton, occurred on June 4, 2010 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on January 12, 1910 in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lydia (Kennedy) Currie. Ada was affiliated with St. Mary's Anglican Church. She was a member of the Altar Guild. Ada is survived by two step-daughters, Joann Hetherington (Gordon) of Fredericton and Doreen Brown (Allison) of Gatineau, PQ; step-daughter-in-law, Jessie Rosborough of Bathurst; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, George and Harold Currie; two step-sons, Earle Rosborough and Wendall "Tex" Rossborough. Although there will be no visitation by request, a graveside service will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.
